Ibagué is sister of Chengdu since 2017, a fact that has led to different exchanges in various areas: Politics, Culture, Science, Education and Business.

With impressive architecture, Chengdu fuses a contemporary style with the tradition of more than 2,300 years. The city population is over 14 million.

Chengdu is the only Chinese megacity, that has kept its name and location for more than 2,000 years and is one of the earliest historical and culturally famous cities in China.

Creative City of Gastronomy: As the place of development of Sichuan cuisine, one of the four main Chinese cuisine styles, reason because of enjoying the fame of “Land of plenty” and “City of gastronomy.”

Chengdu has an extensive culture and exceptional natural conditions, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is located there.
