Creative district
Creative districts are a way of enunciating areas where culture, creativity and entrepreneurship converge together. They work as areas of economic, social and cultural development, consolidating scenarios for urban development, employment generation, creation, production, distribution, exhibition, commercialization, cultural and creative goods and services consumption.
ADN Capital Musical
The Creative District ‘Capital Musical’ defines a strategic sector of the downtown area of Ibagué with a high impact and projection in the cultural and creative activities of the city. It was implemented by the Decree 0482 of September 24, 2020, it recognizes mainly 36 total and partial inclusion activities, and has as main goal to promote and strengthen the cultural and creative activities present in the area, generating the right conditions for the development and projection of the city under the vocation of Musical Capital.
It’s located in the center of the city within a closed polygon of 25 hectares, where economic and political activities converge, as well as emblematic assets of interest and cultural facilities such as the Panóptico Museum of Ibagué, Escuela de Formación Artística y Cultural EFAC, Concha Acústica Garzón y Collazos, Teatro Tolima, Conservatorio del Tolima, Parque de la Música, Museo de Arte del Tolima, among others.
